Aside from the photographs being shite (why do people do that when
trying to sell expensive cars?) - it appears to be the best part of £5k
above delear retail prices.

How many dealers did you find that had cars with a plate on them worth £3k?
How many Silverstones did you find (and in which country)?

The plate, whilst on the car, is worth nothing to anyone other than
someone with those initials. Even off the car, to someone with the right
initials, it's not worth £3k.

You also appear to be under the impression that several thousand spent
on a limited edition when new means a used value several thousand above
a standard model at 7 years old.

Actually 17k for the car and 3k for the plate (but this probably seems like
a detail to you).

Keep the plate, its worthless to the majority of people with the cash to
purchase this car, i have my own cherished plate i put on cars, as for the
actual car, there are a lot of good used Jags around, ok maybe not this
limited edition version but you try finding the actual person who wants
this,
like me many people will be looking for a nice clean low mileage well
serviced vehicle.

I will give you 10k for it tops.

I'd value the plate at £400. The car is probably worth around £12k.

Personally I'd buy an XJR instead and I wouldn't bother with the vanity
plate, especially as I'm not vain enough to want to drive around displaying
someone elses initials.

Does it fall over every time you open the bonnet or just when you
take a corner really, really fast?

Glass's guide says its £15350 with 67k on the clock, but a Jag dealer will
say thats worth £13000 less mileage adjustment (-£500).

Then theres any marks (-£500)

The bidding ended for this item, no bids, well really not surprising is it.
