Not had much luck flogging my Punto in the local rag. I wonder how much you
guys think it's worth.

1.2 60S, 8V. T reg, 63K, Green. No electric toys (not even windows). Good
condition inside and out, MOT until Aug 07, tax until Feb. Full history.
Just recently - 3k miles ago had a head gasket change (with skim) new
cambelt, tensioners and water pump.

So, what's it worth? And does anyone want it, or swap it for something
interesting... It's in High Wycombe..

I advertised it for £825 due to the fact it ideally needs new front tyres.
They're not illegal but it will need them soon. It's in great nick..

Truth be told, I'd take £650 for it, they seem to be advertised between £750
and £1100 in the trader

Cheers

Christ, there was a black R-plater kicking around here with an advert in
the window asking a mere £200...

A colleague at work (TRING/AYLESBURY) is looking for a Punto and might be
interested if your car is still for sale. He also has the following
"interesting" car to dispose of and you just might be interested, I think
he might be interesting in buying your car without a swap if you are not:

300TE Mercedes Estate 4-Matic four wheel drive.
6 cylinder 3 litre petrol
1989/90 G reg,
107,000 miles
Leather
Inside good
Goes like a train
Petrol but surprisingly economical
Seven seats
Metallic mid blue
The small sills

NEGATIVES -
no aircon
rusty front sills
aerial and rear windscreen wiper do not work
speaker on one rear door and inside handle on the other need fixing (both
doors do work !)
badges nicked
not much history

Paid £2k for it three years ago and spent about £1k or so doing it up.

If the rear speaker and door trim was fixed , badges put back and it was
buffed up it would look very good.
